GENERAL INFORMATION

ROLE SUMMARY

The BI Analyst is responsible for collecting, developing, and deploying data analytics to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making for management and leadership within the Retail Banking Division.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect, develop, and deploy data analytics to provide insights and timely recommendations supporting decision-making by management and senior leadership of the Retail Banking Division.
• Proactively engage with division management to understand business challenges and deliver relevant, data-driven recommendations in a timely manner.
• Participate in bank-wide and divisional projects in the capacity of data analyst to capture and address strategic business issues.
• Support periodic and ad-hoc reporting requirements; conduct in-depth analyses for senior leadership to evaluate overall and detailed business performance.
• Propose and implement initiatives to improve the efficiency of the division's data analytics operations and contribute to the broader data capability roadmap.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Banking, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in reporting system management and in-depth analytics within the banking or financial services sector.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Understanding of sales roles and business models within retail banking.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in data management and query tools: SQL, Oracle, or equivalent RDBMS platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one BI tool: Apache Superset, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud) is a strong advantage.
